After much buzz 🐝 and deliberation we’re excited to announce the new name for our softball team: The Springfield Stingers! 🎉🎉 🏆 A huge shoutout to everyone who submitted names. We truly appreciate the amount of support recieved from the community and the creative name suggestions! The name Stingers was chosen for its strong connection to our community of Springfield and the sting of excitement it brings to the field! 🥎✨ We also want to take a moment to thank those who shared their thoughts about keeping the Brewers name. The Brewers’ legacy is important to us, and we’ve made sure it lives on in our new look. Our mascot, Brewer the Bee, proudly rocks a "B" on their hat as a nod to the Brewers' history. 🐝🥎 Plus, our team colors will remain the classic blue and yellow you know and love! 💙💛 Check out the new logo on our Facebook page! Registration for the 2025 softball season will open on January 15 and close on February 28. In order to register, you will need to have completed the Respect in Sport for Parents program. Once you have filled out the registration form, you can pay by sending an e-transfer to springfieldstingers@outlook.com. Please include your player's name in the message when sending the e-transfer. We are looking forward to a great season!
